Registered Nurse – ICU / PCU

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for ICU-level patients within a newly opening PCU environment
- Support Med/Surg, Telemetry, PCU, and/or Critical Care patient populations as needed
- Float to MS/Tele, PCU, and Critical Care units based on census needs
- Maintain patient care ratios of 6:1 for MS/Tele and 2:1 for Critical Care
- Obtain TNCC/TCAR certification within the facility's allotted timeframe if not held at time of start
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- ICU or high-level PCU nursing experience required
- Must be available to start early October
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- TNCC or TCAR certification
- Experience with Critical Care and Telemetry patient populations
