Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting, managing critically ill patients with a high level of clinical competency.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Cerner electronic health records.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Float to Medical/Surgical or Telemetry units during periods of low ICU census, maintaining patient ratios of 5–6:1.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a professional clinical setting.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- TNCC or TCAR certification required.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification and a minimum of 6 hours of Stroke education (education may be provided if needed).
- EKG course completion required (course may be provided if needed).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner electronic health records system.
- Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated compliance and adaptability.
