Registered Nurse – ICU

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:30–07:00) | 36–48 Hours/Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting, managing critically ill patients with complex needs
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status using electronic health record systems
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Float to Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit during periods of low ICU census, maintaining patient ratios of 5–6:1
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an ICU setting
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- TNCC or TCAR certification
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Minimum 6 hours of Stroke education (can be provided if needed)
- EKG course completion (can be provided if needed)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner electronic health record system
- Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated compliance documentation practices
