    Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed Neuro ICU at patient ratios of 2:1, with potential for 1:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity and staffing needs
    • Operate and monitor advanced equipment including ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000
    • Assist with or support procedures including central line insertion, arterial line insertion, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD insertions
    • Document patient care accurately using the Meditech documentation system
    • Fulfill a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per scheduling period; schedules are managed in 4-week increments with self-scheduling options
    • Deliver attentive and compassionate care to patients and family members in alignment with patient experience standards; contract staff are first to float and may be assigned to med/surg as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
    • Ability to wear navy scrubs (tops and bottoms) per dress code policy
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a Neuro ICU or similar high-acuity specialty unit
    • Familiarity with Meditech or comparable electronic documentation systems
    • Experience with EVD management, CRRT, or SLED therapy
