Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed Cardiac Care Unit with a 2:1 patient ratio
- Monitor and manage critically ill cardiac patients including those in cardiogenic shock
- Operate and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring equipment including PA catheters
- Assist with and support procedures such as central line insertion, swan insertion, and intubations
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech electronic documentation system
- Float to other units as needed based on census demands
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- Cardiac experience required
- Strong critical care experience required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with IABP and/or Impella devices
- Experience with CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
- Familiarity with Hill-Rom beds and Philips telemetry monitoring systems
- Prior travel nursing experience in a CCU or ICU setting
