Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, interpreting clinical data and responding to changes in patient condition
• Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as required during orientation
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent ICU experience required
• Active Ohio RN license or active compact state license in hand at time of submission
• AHA BLS certification – active and in hand at time of submission (no pending certifications accepted)
• AHA ACLS certification – active and in hand at time of submission (no pending certifications accepted)
• One professional reference required from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months (co-worker references not accepted)
• No open license hits or open background check cases; facility does not accept any license hits

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience within a single ICU location preferred, though not required
• Familiarity with annual hands-on nursing competency requirements in a travel or contract setting
• Prior experience working within a large health system environment
