Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Hours: 19:00–07:30 | Every other weekend and some holidays required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms including telemetry and recognition of lethal arrhythmias
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing and patient census requirements
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-acuity inpatient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of two years of acute care ICU experience within the last three years
• BLS and ACLS certifications required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam prior to start (adult and pediatric components; passing score of 80% or higher with 100% identification of lethal rhythms)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Magnet-designated or academic medical center environment
• Familiarity with advanced cardiac monitoring and interpretation in both adult and pediatric populations
