    Job Title

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30) with every other weekend and some holidays required; 4x12 schedule available if preferred

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting, supporting a diverse critically ill patient population
    • Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
    • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias and heart blocks
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across ICU subspecialties including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, and Trauma Surgery environments
    • Deliver care to IMC, Progressive, and General care populations as assigned
    • Pass a mandatory telemetry/cardiac rhythm interpretation exam prior to start date
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license required
    • BLS and ACLS certifications required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
    • Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the ICU specialty
    • Must pass a telemetry examination prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; strict criteria apply for lethal rhythm identification and heart block questions; up to three attempts permitted under compliance guidelines)
    • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience across multiple ICU subspecialties such as Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, Burn ICU, or Trauma Surgery
    • Familiarity with IMC, Progressive, and step-down care populations
    • Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills, including pediatric rhythms
