    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | 26-Week Assignment | Start Date: 11/16

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed ICU with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, serving an adult and geriatric population
    • Perform arterial line management, central line care/management, and PICC line management
    • Manage ventilated patients, including suctioning and interpretation of ABGs
    • Administer blood products and manage IV insulin protocols
    • Interpret dysrhythmias and perform cardiac monitoring in a cardiovascular-focused unit
    • Participate in every-other-weekend coverage; self-scheduling unit with no call requirement
    Required Qualifications
    • Active California RN license required at time of submission
    • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
    • Cardiovascular experience required, including open heart and balloon pump experience
    • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
    • VIP, MAB, or CPI certification required — in-person course completion only
    • Must pass an Advanced EKG exam (onsite, 80% minimum passing score; two attempts permitted)
    • Local candidates are welcome and will be considered at the travel rate
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience starting IVs and managing IV access in a critical care environment
    • Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered
    • Familiarity with completing required specialty modules prior to assignment start
