    Contract | Days | Shift: 06:45–19:15 (Schedule Varies)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit setting
    • Monitor and manage critically ill patients, including those with complex and acute conditions
    • Perform neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS protocols
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
    • Adhere to holiday scheduling expectations: expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an ICU specialty
    • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
    • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
    • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • CCRN certification preferred
    • Experience with Cerner electronic health records
    • Prior experience in a Medical Intensive Care Unit or COVID ICU environment
