Job Summary
This opportunity is for an experienced Travel Registered Nurse to join a dynamic Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The unit specializes in providing comprehensive critical care to adult patients with a wide range of complex medical conditions, including respiratory failure, sepsis, and other life-threatening illnesses.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring, ventilator management, and various life-sustaining interventions in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or a compact state license.
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent, acute care experience in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) setting.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Ability to travel and reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification.
- Prior experience with Cerner electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Previous experience in a dedicated COVID-19 ICU environment.

- Expertise in ventilator management and respiratory support.
- Competence in administering vasoactive medications and titrating infusions.
