Registered Nurse – ICU

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights), every other weekend | 72 guaranteed hours biweekly
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting across rotating day and night shifts
- Float between the ICU and IMCU as needed
- Manage and monitor patients requiring advanced cardiac devices, including IABP and IMPELLA
- Apply CT surgery nursing expertise to support complex, critically ill patient populations
- Participate in a weekend rotation (every other weekend) and cover 2 required holidays if working through the winter holiday period
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- EPIC electronic health record proficiency required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar ICU or critical care setting
- CT surgery nursing experience and hands-on experience with devices such as IABP and IMPELLA required
- Must be separated from BILH for a minimum of 6 months to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience floating between ICU and step-down or intermediate care units (IMCU)
- Comfort working rotating shifts including nights and weekends in a high-acuity environment
