Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and individualized nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process, applying scientific nursing principles across a broad range of medical conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes
- Interact professionally with patients and visitors while maintaining the standards of professional nursing practice
- Float to different units or a secondary campus as needed to support staffing requirements
- Maintain current RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification throughout the duration of the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — license in hand required at time of submittal
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the ICU/CCU service line
- Must reside at least 150 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Candidates must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting an offer, or have a documented plan in place to do so within that timeframe
- Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including testing for marijuana; a positive result results in immediate cancellation with no exceptions — candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could produce a positive result
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Altera charting system preferred but not required
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
