Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,983 per week in Hagerstown, MD

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit – Maryland

Start Date: October 2026

Location: Maryland

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required, 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, may float to IMC within scope

Highlights:

• Specialized ICU caring for trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro patient populations
• Collaborative interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and physical therapy
• Epic EMR system utilized for all clinical documentation
• 24-hour comprehensive orientation provided to support successful onboarding
• Experience with advanced equipment including CRRT, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and intraventricular drains
• 13-week assignment with potential for extension after appropriate separation period

Requirements:

• Active RN license (pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 3 years of ICU experience preferred; 2+ years with strong critical care background may be considered
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Proficiency with Epic charting system required
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (no exemptions)
• Experience with 1:2 patient ratios in critical care settings
• Community hospital and Level I or Level II trauma center experience preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
