Description: The position involves caring for critically ill patients in an intensive care setting. Registered Nurses will work three 12-hour shifts per week from 07:00 to 19:30. The unit will see a variety of neuro patients, necessitating specific expertise and experience. RNs will be expected to float to other units within the scope of practice based on need. There may be instances of floating to different campuses with a 1.5-hour notice. Staff will be supported by an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapy and respiratory services. The daily patient census is approximately 12 patients, with a staff-patient ratio of 2 to 1. New hires will undergo a thorough onboarding process to ensure competency in unit-specific procedures. Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays, is required.
