Job Opportunity – Critical Care RN – New York
Start Date: September 7, 2026
Location: Albany, New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 48 hours per week; full-time assignment with floating responsibilities across multiple ICU settings
Highlights:
- Level I Trauma Center environment with diverse critical care patient populations
- Float position across multiple ICUs including Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU)
- Epic EMR system utilized throughout facility
- Competency assessment required within 24 hours of application submission
- Previous travel nursing experience required; local candidates from certain counties not eligible
- Navy blue scrubs required as part of facility dress code
Requirements:
- Active RN license in New York State
- Epic EMR experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience mandatory
- Level I Trauma Center experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated competency and comfort caring for ICU patients across multiple critical care environments
- Experience floating to various ICU settings highly desired
- Ability to provide care to ICU/PCC patients in ED and PACU awaiting bed placement
