Job Opportunity – Critical Care RN Float Pool – New York
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: Albany, New York

Schedule: 48 hours per week available; ICU float pool position with flexibility across multiple critical care units
Highlights:
- Level I Trauma Center experience with exposure to diverse critical care patient populations
- Float across multiple ICU environments including Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, Cardiac/Vascular ICU, CCU, and Progressive Critical Care Unit
- Epic EMR system utilized throughout facility
- Competency assessment required within 24 hours of submission
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Navy blue scrubs required as part of facility dress code
Requirements:
- Active New York RN license (must be obtained prior to start date; pending licenses will not be considered)
- Epic EMR experience required
- Level I Trauma Center experience strongly preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience mandatory
- Demonstrated competency caring for ICU patients across multiple critical care settings
- Ability to float between Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, Cardiac/Vascular ICU, CCU, PCCU, and ICU patients in ED/PACU awaiting placement
