Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,508 per week in Albany, NY

Float position across multiple ICUs including Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU). Job Opportunity – Critical Care RN – New York

Start Date: September 7, 2026

Location: Albany, New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48 hours per week; full-time assignment with floating responsibilities across multiple ICU settings

Highlights:

• Level I Trauma Center environment with diverse critical care patient populations
• Float position across multiple ICUs including Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU)
• Epic EMR system utilized throughout facility
• Competency assessment required within 24 hours of application submission
• Previous travel nursing experience required; local candidates from certain counties not eligible
• Navy blue scrubs required as part of facility dress code

Requirements:

• Active RN license in New York State
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience mandatory
• Level I Trauma Center experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated competency and comfort caring for ICU patients across multiple critical care environments
• Experience floating to various ICU settings highly desired
• Ability to provide care to ICU/PCC patients in ED and PACU awaiting bed placement
