TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Tyler, Texas, 75701!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: - 2 years preferred - Travel experience preferred License: - State or Compact license required Certifications: - ACLS - BLS Must-Have: - Previous Charge Experience preferred - Experience with the charting system Epic required Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the ICU. The shifts are 3x12 hour nights. The patient ratio is 1:2. Experience in a Medical-Surgical ICU is preferred. Candidates should have experience managing patients with complex needs. Skills in IV management, care of ventilated patients, and cardiac drips monitoring are essential. Familiarity with ECMO and high flow nasal cannula management is preferred. Interaction with an interdisciplinary team is expected. This role requires a commitment to patient safety and infection control protocols. Applicants should have experience with procedures such as chest tube management and central line care. A positive attitude and teamwork approach are crucial for success in this role. This position involves direct patient care for adults and geriatric patients in a critical condition. The average daily census is 14 patients with 16 beds available. Weekend shifts are required. All required skills and qualifications must be fulfilled to ensure a high standard of patient care.
