Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in Trauma ICU License: State or Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; PALS and TNCC preferred Must-Have: Level I Trauma experience; travel experience required; experience with Epic charting system Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in the Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Trauma ICU setting. Experience in Level I Trauma is required. Candidates must possess strong skills in bi-level positive airway pressure and continuous positive airway pressure management, as well as blood product administration. The role includes care for ventilated patients and managing central lines. In this position, nurses are expected to perform intracranial pressure monitoring and interpret dysrhythmias. Ventilator management skills are necessary for patient care. Patient ratios are 1:2 during shifts. Floating to IMC and Tele units may be required. This position requires a collaborative approach within an interdisciplinary support team, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
