Job Title: Registered Nurse - High Acuity Float Pool

Must-Have:
Must have EPIC experience.
Prior floating experience is required.
Exposure to CRRT, Impella, ECMO, IABP preferred.
Description:
This role involves working in a high acuity float pool.
Assignments may vary based on patient acuity.
Typical nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:2 to 1:3.
Experience with titrating medication drips is expected.
Common diagnoses include medical, surgical, neuro, and cardiac cases.
Nurse aides are present, with a ratio dependent on daily census.
The unit is equipped with various respiratory equipment.
There are monitor technicians available, and RNs will read strips.
Shift scheduling is flexible, allowing for self-scheduling.
There are weekend and holiday shift requirements.
No call or standby is necessary for this position.
Assignments are created daily by the charge nurse.
The dress code includes royal blue scrubs.
Training includes general hospital orientation and unit-specific modules.
