Nurses will float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity. This position requires floating within units of equivalent or lower acuity. Requirements include a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Experience with electronic health records is necessary. Candidates must have IV start, telemetry, and ventilator management experience. Previous travel nursing experience is strongly preferred. This role includes rotating through various ICUs based on patient needs. All candidates must be aware of the urgency of the credentialing process involved. Completion of required fingerprinting as part of the credentialing process is essential. Travelers who are unresponsive or uncooperative with credentialing are at risk of cancellation. References from professional colleagues, including a supervisor, are required. Education must be from an accredited nursing program.
