Job Description

This is a Travel position. You must live more than 30 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

Position Overview

Description:

ICU Registered Nurse - Day/Night Variable Schedule Shift Details
  • Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  • 3x12-hour shifts, variable schedule as needed
  • Every other weekend required
  • Holiday coverage required
  • 2 on-call shifts per 4-week period
  • Full-time days, nights, and weekends
  • All contracts must run into February - no exceptions
Licensure
  • Currently licensed by NYS as a Registered Professional Nurse
Required Certifications
  • BLS (AHA/RQI only)
  • ACLS (AHA/RQI only)
  • PALS (AHA/RQI only)
  • NIHSS
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the RQI system during clinical orientation
  • Basic Coronary Care certification required within 6 months of hire
  • CPI certification required within 90 days of hire
Preferred Certifications
  • Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association recommended within 2 years of hire
  • TNCC recommended within 2 years of hire
