Job Title: Level 2 Registered Nurse - ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 22 weeks Shift: Variable schedule Hours per Shift: 12 hours (3 shifts per week) Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Must be currently licensed as a registered professional nurse Certifications: Must have BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications through the RQI system during clinical orientation Must-Have: - Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire - CPI certification within 90 days of hire - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion - Ability to manage multiple priorities and enhance teamwork through effective role modeling - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills - Computer literacy Description: ICU position with a variable day/night schedule. Shifts are 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM. Full-time positions available, including holidays. Staff must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care for patients. Knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan is essential. Ability to assess and interpret data reflective of patient status required. Care needed for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient groups must be provided. Demonstrates behaviors consistent with principles of a healing environment. Ensures safety, promotes dignity and respect, and exemplifies healthy relationships. Communication skills and professionalism are crucial for patient and team interactions.
