Candidates will be responsible for managing complex patient cases, including sepsis, respiratory failure, substance abuse disorders, endocrine disorders, and psychiatric disorders. The unit practices high patient ratios with individualized care, typically 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3. Equipment used includes Alaris Pumps, Arctic Sun, Prismax, and EV 1000. Experience with CRRT and electronic medical records is preferred. Ideal candidates should exhibit team player qualities, a positive attitude, flexibility, and empathy in their interactions. Proper attire includes navy scrubs; personal clothing such as hoodies and non-branded sweatshirts is not acceptable. Candidates will undergo training that includes necessary skills to ensure readiness for working in the intensive care environment. This role may require floating to other inpatient areas when census is low.
