The unit consists of 16 beds with patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3. The equipment available in the unit includes ventilators, Arctic Sun, temporary pacemakers, and Swan-Ganz catheters. Experience in caring for post-cardiac catheterization patients, STEMIs, NSTEMIs, and medical ICU overflow patients is essential. Candidates should possess strong critical care skills and be prepared to float in cases of low census. The dress code requires navy scrubs. This position does not require the candidate to complete any education modules prior to the first day.
