Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU – Texas

Start Date: July 8, 2026

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12.5-hour shifts (7:00am-7:30pm / 7:00pm-7:30am), rotating weekends, 36 guaranteed hours per week, every other weekend required

• Patient ratios of 1:2 in ICU and 1:5 in Med/Surg when floating
• 14-bed ICU with standard critical care equipment and Meditech documentation system
• Consistent schedule with guaranteed hours and no on-call requirements

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Experience with vasopressors and critical care procedures
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Excellent attendance record and reliability required
• Ability to float to other units as needed per facility policy
