Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) – Texas

Start Date: August 21, 2026

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12.5-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM; 36 guaranteed hours per week; every other weekend; 13-week assignment

  • Exposure to advanced ICU interventions such as IABP and CRRT
  • Meditech electronic medical record system
  • Professional environment with strong emphasis on patient-focused care and clinical excellence
  • Floating required per facility policy

Requirements:

  • Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)
  • Minimum 2-3 years of ICU experience required
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Certification
  • Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
  • MICU and Medical-Surgical ICU background preferred
  • Prior experience with IABP and CRRT preferred
  • Meditech documentation experience preferred
