Job Title: Travel RN - MSICU Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years hospital experience, 2+ years specialty experience License: Active RN License required; temporary licenses will not be accepted Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; TNCC, CCRN, and TCRN preferred Must-Have: - 2+ years hospital experience - 2+ years specialty experience - BLS certification - ACLS certification Description: This position is for a travel registered nurse specializing in the medical-surgical intensive care unit. The shift for this role is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The unit typically has a patient ratio of 2:1. Central line insertions, arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside tracheostomies, and chest tube insertions are among the procedures performed on this unit. A supervisor is present on every shift, along with patient care technicians. Experience with the Meditech documentation system is preferred. Candidates must adhere to the dress code, which includes wearing royal blue scrubs. Nail policies require clean and healthy nails, with no artificial nails or gel. Hair must be neat and clean, styled in a non-extreme manner, and longer hair should be pulled back. Body art should be covered whenever possible, and visible piercings other than ear piercings are prohibited. Candidates will be required to discuss weekend and call requirements during the interview.
