Schedule: Full-time position with routine facility rounds and departmental oversight
Highlights:- Serve as a key member of the quality and infection prevention team within a comprehensive healthcare system
- Conduct hospital-wide surveillance to identify and track healthcare-related infections and support public reporting compliance
- Collaborate on system-level policy and procedure development to strengthen infection prevention standards
- Provide education and training to clinical staff and patients on best practices in infection control
- Perform regular audits and physical rounds across all facility departments including oversight of construction, renovation, cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization processes
- Matrix reporting structure supporting both facility leadership and system-level infection prevention leadership
Requirements:- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or compact state eligibility
- Previous infection prevention or quality experience preferred
- Strong understanding of infection control principles, surveillance methods, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication and education skills for multidisciplinary team collaboration
- Ability to conduct audits, analyze data, and implement evidence-based practices
