Highlights:- Function under the direction of the Infection Prevention Manager with system-level support and collaboration
- Lead hospital-wide surveillance programs and identification of healthcare-related infections
- Participate in developing system-wide policies and procedures for infection prevention
- Conduct routine facility audits and physical rounds across all departments
- Oversee infection prevention practices related to construction, renovation, cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization
- Ensure compliance with public reporting requirements for mandated healthcare-associated infections
Requirements:- Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Professional nursing experience with knowledge of infection prevention principles
- Strong clinical assessment and surveillance skills
- Excellent communication and education abilities for patients and staff
- Ability to conduct audits and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred
