Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

The Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN) will provide exceptional care for critically ill patients with a variety of neurological diagnoses, including neurotrauma, status epilepticus, stroke, and spinal cord injuries. This role demands a high level of clinical skill and the ability to address complex comorbidities and multisystem organ involvement.

Position Details

• Experience Required:
  • 2+ years of strong critical care experience
  • 1+ years of travel experience
  • 2+ years of neuro critical care nursing experience preferred
• Shifts:
  • 36 hours or 48 hours
  • Straight nights or Days/Nights rotating
  • Every Other Weekend (EOW)
  • Every Other Holiday (EOH)

Unit Description

The Neuroscience ICU is dedicated to caring for adult patients with critical conditions linked to neurological issues. The unit maintains a clinician-to-patient ratio of 1:2 and has a bed count of 24 with a current census of approximately 22 patients.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required
• License/Certificate Verification necessary
