Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a night shift position with a requirement to work every other weekend. This role involves a rotating schedule through the winter holidays with a commitment to fulfill at least two holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

Float between the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) as needed.
Provide high-quality patient care utilizing advanced nursing skills and knowledge.
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond to patient needs in a timely manner.
Collaborate with medical staff and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation and patient management.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar clinical setting.
Must have experience in cardiovascular surgery and be adept with devices such as Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) and Impella.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
Must be separated from previous employment with the organization for at least 6 months to be considered.
Weekly orientation sessions will be provided.
Any color scrubs are acceptable for the position.

Shift Details

This position involves working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
