Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Float Pool. This position will primarily involve working in various Intensive Care Units, including but not limited to Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, Burn ICU, and Trauma Surgery. The successful candidate will demonstrate adaptability across different care populations and provide high-quality nursing care.

Job Details:

• Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
• Schedule: Evening/Night shifts, with every other weekend required and some holidays.
• Alternative Scheduling: 4x12-hour shifts may be accepted for travelers interested in this arrangement.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in various critical care settings.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patients' conditions and respond swiftly to changes in their health status.
• Utilize advanced clinical skills to perform assessments, administer medications, and manage treatments.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Wisconsin RN or compact RN license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required; only AHA certifications are accepted.
• Experience in multiple ICU units, including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, and Trauma Surgery.
• Telemetry certification required; candidates will be required to pass a Telemetry test prior to starting.
