Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves working night shifts and includes every other weekend, with rotation during winter holidays. Candidates will be required to work two holidays per year.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in both ICU and IMCU settings.
  • Float as needed between ICU and IMCU based on staffing requirements.
  • Utilize advanced medical devices such as Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) and Impella.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and medication administration according to protocols.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar critical care setting.
  • Experience in cardiovascular surgery nursing is mandatory.
  • Proficiency with medical devices, specifically IABP and Impella.
  • Current certification in BLS-AHA and ACLS-AHA.
  • Must be separated from previous employment for a minimum of 6 months.

Orientation and Attire

Orientation for new hires occurs weekly, and any color scrubs are acceptable for the position.
