Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain at time of offer
• 2-3 years of related ICU, critical care, or inpatient acute care experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Epic experience required
• Ability to complete ECG/telemetry and medication testing during day-one orientation
• Experience with ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, and cardiac dysrhythmia recognition preferred
• CCRN preferred
• Flexibility to float as needed to PACU, step down, and the ED for holding patients

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to ICU patients with complex and high-acuity medical needs
• Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Manage ventilators, vasoactive medications, sedation, and hemodynamic support as assigned
• Recognize and intervene in cardiac dysrhythmias and other critical events
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow unit protocols and safety standards
• Float to PACU, step down, or the ED to assist with holding patients when needed
• Contribute to a reliable, team-oriented workflow in a busy critical care setting
