ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic ICU team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, with a preference for those who have 4-5 years of experience in various specialized ICUs such as SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU setting.
  • Monitor patient conditions and vital signs closely.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by providers.
  • Utilize specialized equipment including CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage), IABP, and Ventriculostomy.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Floating may be required to various units, except Behavioral and ER.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in New York and all other active RN licenses.
  • Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
  • Skills checklist matching specialty is required.
  • Up-to-date resume documenting at least 2 years of ICU experience and required travel experience.
  • Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex is essential.
  • Prior experience in heart-related cases is highly preferred.

Unit Information

  • Facility includes a 42-bed ICU with specific zones for Neuro/Med, CTICU, and Surg/Trauma.
  • Common patient diagnoses may include strokes, sepsis, neuro interventions, and trauma cases.
  • Work environment features advanced monitoring and therapeutic technologies to support critical care.
