Registered Nurse - ICU/CCU

Position Overview

As a Registered Nurse specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Coronary Care Unit (CCU) settings, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients. This role requires a strong clinical acumen, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions, including vital signs and other clinical data.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and healthcare practices.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide critical interventions as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records to ensure continuity of care.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards in nursing practice.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Previous experience in ICU/CCU nursing strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
