Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

The role involves providing critical care nursing services across various units, including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, and Trauma Surgery. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for the care of patients in both intensive and progressive care settings, working collaboratively within a float pool team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in multiple ICU units.
• Monitor patient conditions and assess needs to provide effective care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation according to protocols.

Schedule

This position requires evening and night shifts, with three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, including every other weekend and some holidays. There is flexibility to consider a 4x12 shift option if the traveler is interested.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or compact RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA are required.
• Experience in multiple critical care settings including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, and Trauma Surgery.
• Must pass a telemetry test prior to starting the position.
