Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nights The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join the ICU team at a healthcare facility. The role involves providing critical care for a diverse patient population, including patients requiring mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, and complex procedures such as moderate sedation, chest tube management, and cardiac monitoring. The RN will deliver expert bedside care in a fast-paced environment, supporting patient safety and outcomes.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with every other weekend or holiday requirement.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in a state with Compact or single-state licensure, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), at least 1 year of clinical experience in an ICU or similar environment.
  • Additional Information: The role involves working in a 30-bed medical-surgical unit with capacity for double beds depending on COVID volume, including progressive care and non-COVID wings. Orientation includes validation of competencies on telemetry and mechanical ventilation, online modules, and preceptor-guided shifts. The team collaborates closely with case managers, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other specialists to provide patient-centered care. Float requirements include coverage for Med-Surg units.
