Job Details

  • Position Description: RN - ICU. Candidates should be comfortable with hemodynamic monitoring (invasive and non-invasive), mechanical ventilators, arterial lines, central lines, vasopressor administration, chest tubes and drainage systems, critical care medication titration, advanced cardiac monitoring, defibrillators and external pacemakers, blood product administration, emergency response and code situations. CRRT exposure and targeted temperature management (TTM) exposure are preferred.
  • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
  • Required Education and Experience: Valid Registered Nurse license, 1 year of ICU experience.
  • Shift Details: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: All ICU nurses are expected to float as needed across LLUH adult facilities, including medical, surgical, trauma, neuroscience, and cardiac intensive care units. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, with previous experience in float pool, traveler, or resource team roles preferred. There are opportunities to float to various units including Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Overflow units based on operational needs. Candidates must be comfortable accepting assignments to different ICU and acute care environments.
