ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient care in the ICU setting, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all aspects of care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding care and treatment options.
• Remain adaptable to patient needs by floating to MedSurg and other units as necessary based on census and hospital demands.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care / ICU nursing experience required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Previous experience in critical care settings is highly regarded.
• Possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Schedule

This position requires a night shift schedule consisting of 3 twelve-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Candidate must be flexible and willing to float as needed during shifts.

Contract Length

This position is set for an initial contract duration of 13 weeks.
