Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit – Seattle, WA 98122

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend required. Patient ratio of 2:1 across all shifts. 13-week assignment with 24 hours of orientation.

Highlights:

• Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with 6-bed capacity serving infants, children, and adolescents
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and physical therapy
• Experience with advanced critical care procedures including high-frequency ventilators, oscillators, CRRT, procedural sedation, and RSI drug administration
• Floating required to NICU or units within skill set with orientation provided
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
• Epic charting system experience preferred

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric critical care experience required
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• NRP and CRRT certifications preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Proficiency in breathing treatments, chest tube care, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilator management, and tracheostomy care
• Experience with blood/blood product administration, central venous pressure monitoring, 12-lead EKG, PICC/central lines, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and wound vac management
• Pediatric dosage calculation competency and IV therapy skills
• Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years
