Job Summary:
Telemetry Medical Surgical Float (Massachusetts) is seeking a highly skilled registered nurse with at least 2 years of med/surgical and telemetry experience for a rotating shift position. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a critical care setting, with responsibilities including patient assessment, medication administration, patient and family education, and responding effectively to emergency situations. The nursing professional will work cooperatively within an interdisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes across varied clinical scenarios.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; current Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; BLS certification; successful completion of Medical/Surgical intravenous (IV) medication module; successful completion of basic arrhythmia exam; 2+ years of medical/surgical and telemetry nursing experience; travel experience is required
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with managing chest drainage devices, intravenous therapy, epidural analgesia, telemetry monitoring, and cardiac medication assessment and administration; ability to work in a fast-paced critical care environment
  • Float: Float: Float rotation may be required
