Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Endoscopy team. The position involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The Nurse will be responsible for performing moderate sedation during procedures and managing pre/post-operative care across all levels, including PACU/Phase I and Phase II recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer moderate sedation during gastrointestinal and pulmonary procedures, including ERCP, EUS, EGD, Colonoscopy, and Bronchoscopy.
• Conduct RN-driven assessments to manage patients within targeted sedation ranges based on the Ramsay Sedation Scale score.
• Ensure comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care for all patients.
• Participate in on-call requirements during weeknights and demonstrate flexibility to stay beyond scheduled shifts to complete the day's procedures.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records using Epic.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma center or an equivalent size hospital.
• Recent experience in recovering patients from sedated GI and pulmonary procedures is required.
• A valid RN license is necessary; a pending Wisconsin license may be accepted upon submission.
• AHA ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Candidates will be required to pass a Telemetry test prior to commencement of employment.

Work Schedule

This position includes day shifts with 8-hour shifts starting between 6:30 AM and 10:30 AM. The schedule may involve rotations with weeknight on-call responsibilities.
