Travel Nurse RN - Endoscopy - $2,400 per week

Medlivo is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Virginia.

Job Description & Requirements

Shift: Days | 10-hour shifts | 40 hrs/week; day typically starts 6:30 am
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday–Friday; weekends covered by call rotation

Requirements
Minimum 2 years Endoscopy RN experience
BLS (AHA only) and ACLS required
PALS preferred
Must pass ECG competency exam on Day 1 (pass/fail, one attempt)
Strong IV skills required
On days without GI cases or overstaffed, team members are floated to preop.
Call Requirements

Weekday call begins at end of scheduled shift and runs until 7:00 AM
Weekdays with no scheduled cases convert to on-call days
Typical weekday call commitment: ~3-4 times per week
Weekend and holiday call: 24-hour blocks (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
Typical weekend commitment: ~4 weekends per 6-week rotation
Must be comfortable with on-call requirements
Unit Details

EMR: EPIC and Provation
10-20 procedures per day (75% outpatient, 25% inpatient)
Unit also supports ECT (Electroconvulsive Therapy) 3 times per week — nurses assist with pre-op, intra-op (timeout and documentation), and post-op
Scrubs: maroon scrubs provided on unit
