Description

American Traveler is hiring a GI/Endoscopy RN with 2+ years of experience and strong IV skills for a role requiring VA or compact RN licensure.

Details

• GI/Endoscopy unit handling approximately 25 procedures per day, split between 75% outpatient and 25% inpatient cases
• Uses Epic and EndoWorks EMR systems
• Shifts scheduled 0700-1730 with varying days, 4 shifts per week
• No floating required
• Weekends and holidays covered through on-call rotation rather than scheduled shifts
• On-call requirement of 1-2 times per week, including 10-hour Saturday and Sunday call and self-scheduled 2-hour weekday call blocks

Requirements

• Active RN license (VA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of GI/Endoscopy experience required
• Strong IV skills required

Additional Information

• One week of floor orientation provided
• Scrub requirements include navy blue pants with solid navy blue or solid white tops, and solid navy blue or solid white jackets
• Facility may cancel up to 2 shifts per 12-week assignment or 3 shifts per 13-week or longer assignment without penalty
