Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 15 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 9 hours (06:30 - 15:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year required; first-timers accepted License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS Must-Have: ERCP experience required Experience with ERCP with Spy Glass, Bronchoscopy, EBUS procedures, Colonoscopy, and Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) Description: Actual shift consists of two 10-hour shifts (6:30 - 5) and two 8-hour shifts (6:30 - 3), totaling 36 hours per week. Patient population includes adults to geriatrics. The nurse will work with a patient ratio of 1:2 in a setting with 3 rooms and 11 beds. The average daily census is 20 patients. Unit systems utilized include Pyxis and Epic. Scrub color is navy blue. The expected call requirements include one weekday call per week and one weekend call per six-week schedule. Holiday work is required for one major holiday during the assignment period, with expectations for multiple holidays if applicable. Compliance with all requirements is essential to start on time. Candidates will undergo a clinical review to determine fit, with the clinical pass leading to a manager's final decision. The unit supports interdisciplinary collaboration with teams such as IV, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, and pharmacy. Familiarity with monitoring conscious sedation and performing pre/post-procedure responsibilities is necessary. Travel candidates are welcomed, with the same rate applicable for local candidates.
