Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Emergency Department serving all patient populations including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Manage and treat common ED presentations including respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis-related conditions, and hypertension
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:4–5, adjusting based on acuity and department needs
- Operate GE monitors and standard ED equipment while documenting in the Meditech EHR system
- Float to like assignments as needed within the department
- Maintain current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications throughout the duration of the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with a minimum Associate of Nursing degree
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS
- Availability for every-other-weekend hours; no on-call requirements
- Expected weekly hours: 36
- Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with the Meditech EHR system
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team player with a positive, engaged attitude
- Experience managing high-acuity and diverse patient populations in a fast-paced ED environment
