Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Emergency Department serving a diverse patient population including adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients
- Manage and treat common ED presentations including respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis-related conditions, and hypertension
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:4–5, adjusting as needed based on patient acuity
- Operate GE monitoring equipment and standard ED equipment in accordance with department protocols
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EHR system
- Float to like assignments as required; every other weekend availability expected
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Associate of Nursing degree or higher
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS
- Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Meditech EHR strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team player with a positive, engaged attitude
- Experience caring for a broad patient population including pediatric and geriatric patients
